Hydronics Institute Merges Into GAMA

Article Tools

On April 18 the board of directors of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) approved a plan to merge the Hydronics Institute into GAMA.

The Hydronics Institute has been dormant since July, 1995. Under the plan of merger, GAMA will become the sole owner of the Hydronics Institute’s Berkeley Heights, NJ office and radiation testing facility. GAMA will also own the copyright to the I=B=R service mark, which is used for certification of boilers and radiation equipment, and in hydronic heating training materials.
