    Top contractors from across America will discuss “The Future of Buildings and the People Who Install Mechanical Systems” at a free seminar at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, Room 101B, at McCormick Place as part of AHR Expo, the world’s largest air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration trade show with more than 1,800 exhibits. Key issues to be discussed include mold and insurance, trends in building design, delivery processes and the role of contractors and general contractors in construction relationships of the future. Discussion will include the opportunities and the potential pitfalls for contractors installing and servicing equipment in commercial and residential buildings. The panel will be moderated by Mike Murphy, editor-in- chief of Contracting Business Magazine. It includes Jim Hussey, chairman of the Board of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and president of Marina Mechanical, San Leandro, Calif.; Dan Thayer, president of Thayer Corporation, Auburn, Maine; Dave Sigler, mechanical construction coordinator, Pepper Construction, Chicago; Bob Wasniewski, co-owner of Roberts Environmental Control Corp., Tinley Park, IL. The panel, designed specifically for contractors, is open to Expo attendees on a first come, first served basis. The meeting room is located near the exhibition floor which features nine acres of booths offering the latest in HVACR equipment which will be on display January 27-29
