American Distributors to Handle Amana in Ohio and Kentucky

American Distributors, the wholesale arm of Goodman Manufacturing Company, L.P., will immediately begin distributing the Amana line of residential and light commercial HVAC products to contractors in select counties in Ohio and Kentucky. According to Ted Altmire, zone sales manager for American Distributors, “The Amana line gives us the opportunity to provide top HVAC dealers with a high-end, differentiated line of products whose name consumers associate with quality.” The Amana line has 80+ and 90+ heating products that feature stainless steel tubular heat exchangers with lifetime limited warranties. Additionally, the Amana line offers single-stage, two-stage, and two-stage/variable-speed models of their 80+ and 90+ furnaces. The 95 AFUE two-stage/variable-speed gas furnaces include a lifetime furnace replacement warranty. On the cooling side, the Amana line features condensing units and heat pumps from 10 through 16 SEER, along with a line of 13 SEER Ultron[R] condensing units featuring CFC-free R-410a refrigerant. The indoor products feature a line of matching evaporator coils, both cased and uncased, as well as single-piece and two-piece air handlers featuring both standard and variable-speed blower motors. Amana’s line of 10 SEER split systems have five-year warranties on all parts, coils, and compressors. Twelve SEER and above models feature 10-year warranties on all parts, indoor and outdoor coils, and compressors. Amana’s line of PTAC units, which are available in both AC and heat pump models, help round out the product offering, with both electric and hydronic heat options.
