The Building Performance Institute (BPI), Malta, NY, announced that Tony Woods, member of the BPI board of directors and founder of Canam Building Envelope Specialists and Zerodraft®, Mississauga, Canada, died of cancer on May 8, 2009.

From bungalow to skyscraper, school to government, and all points in between, Woods improved the performance of almost every type of structure. BPI sources called Woods a pioneer of building performance and the systems approach since the early 1970s.

He developed and launched the Zerodraft line of weatherizing products in the mid-1990s.
