Mobile Application Provides Access to Product Database
Emerson X-Check™ is a mobile application for iPhone, Droid, and Blackberry mobile devices that provides on-the-go access to Emerson’s online valves, controls, and system protectors cross-reference database. The X-Check app allows users to pull up information based on manufacturer, product type, and model number to locate the corresponding Emerson product.
The X-Check database is offline so the user can still check for replacement even when Internet access isn’t available.

VRF is LG's Most Advanced, for Many Commercial Applications
LG Electronics USA has introduced its new Multi V III Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) commercial air conditioning system for large-scale facilities, such as commercial office buildings, hotels, hospitals and schools.
The third-generation in LG's popular Multi V series uses innovative VRF technology that enables improved energy efficiency by allowing occupants to choose whether to air condition or heat only the zones in use. Multi V III will be LG’s flagship commercial HVAC system as it foresees continued growth in demand for energy-saving HVAC technology.
Sources say the LG Multi V III delivers six key benefits for building owners:
- LG inverter scroll: a new high side shell innovation offers a more compact size for the same capacity output with greater reliability in cold climates.
- Rapid start cooling: the fast response cooling or heating feature reaches room set point temperatures 40% faster than previous LG systems.
- AHRI 1230 certification: sources report the Multi V III is one of the first performance-certified VRF systems. This insures building owners receive verified ratings which comply with all national energy codes.
- Compact footprint: Multi V III supports more indoor zones and takes up less outdoor space. When space or access is at a premium, this equates to significant cost advantages for the owner on large projects.

Patent Pending Product To Make The Conversion From R-22 To R-410A Fast Safe and Efficient
The Oil Terminator removes mineral oils and solid contaminants and acids from existing copper tubing. According to company sources, it has a flushing system to make the conversion from R-22 to R-410-A fast , safe and efficient.
The Oil Terminator adapters can be attached and removed easily leaving the copper tubing undamaged. It can adapt to any size copper tubing from an 11/8-in. to 1/8-in. This new tool will allow technicians to flush both the high side and low side copper tubing, hands free. Once the technician has attached the adapters to the copper tubing lines he can go outside and remotely activate the flushing cycle. The Oil Terminator can be timed to pulsate the chemicals and nitrogen throughout the copper tubing lines. This pulsating timed feature makes sure all the mineral oil and contaminants have been completely removed. The range for remote activation of the oil terminator can be up to 80-ft. away. This remote activation will allow the service technician the ability to go outside and watch the flushing cycle from start to finish.

Luxaire Acclimate Central Dehumidifiers Help Reduce Moisture
Three new Luxaire Acclimate central dehumidifiers join the line of indoor air quality (IAQ) products from the Luxaire brand of Johnson Controls. According to company sources, the 65, 90 and 135-pint models are designed to remove excess moisture from the air and improve comfort levels in homes.
The smallest model, with a capacity of 65 pints of moisture per day, is specifically designed for condominium complexes and applications where space is limited. However, the unit can also be used in homes as large as 3,600-sq.-ft., depending on the geographic location and energy-efficient construction of the home.
The 90-pint model, which can accommodate homes up to 5,000-sq.-ft., incorporates built-in ventilation technology and fan-cycling features to provide better circulation and mixing of the dehumidified air throughout the home.
With a capacity of 135 pints, the largest model is designed for homes up to 7,400 sq.-ft.
