    Copeland Corporation, a subsidiary of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and part of the Emerson Climate Technologies business group, today announced that Frank Landwehr has been promoted to vice president – marketing for Copeland’s air conditioning division. In this position, he will oversee the strategic marketing efforts of the division. “Frank has excelled throughout his long career with Copeland and we’re very excited to have him in a position where he can drive innovative marketing programs that generate results for Copeland and our customers,” said Scott Barbour, executive vice president and general manager of Copeland’s air conditioning division. “Frank’s strategic leadership will be important for the continued growth of Copeland, as well as Emerson Climate Technologies.” As the new vice president of marketing for Copeland’s air conditioning division, Landwehr is responsible for all marketing functions for the residential and commercial markets, as well as product positioning, pricing, forecasting and eBusiness activities. He also will provide leadership and strategic input to the division’s product planning efforts, as well as the introduction of new products in both its major markets. Landwehr has been with Copeland for 14 years, and has held a variety of positions in financial analysis, purchasing and product planning. He most recently served as vice president – product planning for Copeland’s refrigeration division. Landwehr received a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a MBA from Washington University.
