Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. has named Victor Perez Northeast Regional Sales Manager. He will manage sales activities in states located in the northeastern U.S.
"Daikin AC has established a strong presence in the northeast since 2005,” says Russell Tavolacci, vice president and general manager of Daikin AC. "Victor's contributions will help us to continue our expansion and we are anxious to benefit from Victor's valued experience not only in the region but in our industry as well."
Perez has amassed more than 35 years of HVAC industry experience, and is especially regarded in the Northeast market having spent the last eight years working in New York City market with responsibilities in both the unitary and applied sides of the business.
He began his career with a manufacturer's representative firm and also held national accounts, sales and management roles with several major HVAC industry players. In his most recent role, Perez created the consulting sales role for a major manufacturer, realizing the necessity of servicing the consulting engineering community.
Victor is a graduate of City University and holds a mechanical engineering degree. He is a member of industry organizations, ASME and IIAR.
