    Danfoss Names Paul Dean GM of US Commercial Compressors Facility

    Ex-Air Force captain is a Six Sigma Black Belt, with a master's degree in business administration

    Danfoss recently named Paul Dean general manager of the company's commercial compressor facility in Arkadelphia, AR. In this capacity, Dean will provide leadership to the Arkadelphia management team and execute the global business strategy.

    Dean brings to his new position more than 15 years experience as an operations/plant manager in the automotive, rotating equipment, and high-volume packaging industries. In the first 18 months of his career with Knoll, Inc., he was responsible for turn-around operations and grew margins by 45% by restructuring and implementing lean manufacturing practices that lowered operating costs.

    Dean is a Six Sigma Black Belt, holds a master degree in business administration and was an undergraduate student of Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL. He has also served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.

    In his new position, Dean will report to Jean-Pierre Le Du, vice president, supply chain.
