• Darlene Knight Named VP of Tecumseh GlobalManufacturing & Quality

    Tecumseh Products Company has appointed Darlene Knight to the position of vice president, Global Manufacturing and Quality Processes. Knight’s primary responsibilities in her new position will be to work closely with Tecumseh operations and quality executives and its manufacturing facilities worldwide to develop world class manufacturing processes and quality metrics. She will to report to Jim Connor, President and CEO.

    “Our vision for Tecumseh is to be the best manufacturer of cooling products in the world,” Connor says. “The addition of Darlene Knight to our management team is yet another investment that will ensure we elevate our global processes and help Tecumseh realize that goal.”

    Previously, Knight spent 22 years with General Motors through 2006 in a range of operations and manufacturing roles, including running General Assembly for GM’s Lansing, Michigan assembly plant and living in Mexico for three years while managing the Ramos Arizpe assembly facility.

    Most recently she was president, Edscha-North America. Knight holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from the GMI Engineering and Management Institute. She also holds a Master of Science in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
