Haberberger, Inc., a mechanical contracting company based in St. Louis, MO, announced that it has reached a significant safety milestone, with its crew successfully working on multiple projects without a single recordable accident during the past year.

Haberberger’s safety record has steadily been improving over the past several years, something the firm credits to the emphasis that the company places on safety and proper training, along with its crews’ hard work and commitment to safety throughout the year.

“Haberberger’s primary goal is to ensure that all of our employees arrive home at the end of each day safe and sound, and we are fully committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all of our employees, subcontractors and customers,” said Tim Meehan, safety director for Haberberger. “We recognize that our employees are required to work in some very challenging environments at times, but we are proud of our crews for making every effort to prevent accidents and adhere to all safety laws and regulations.”

Haberberger also attributes this significant accomplishment to the safety training provided by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562, the Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 and the training that the company provides. Additionally, over the past year, Haberberger mandated that every project manager fill out a daily job safety analysis (JSA), which has helped play a significant role in helping the company achieve a year without a recordable accident.
