    Harris Companies, St. Paul, MN, the 26th largest mechanical contractor in the U.S., has acquired Climate Control, Phoenix, AZ, a mechanical contractor serving the commercial and residential sectors.
    The acquisition marks the fourth major market for Harris Companies who will now have offices in St. Paul and Rochester, MN, Salt Lake City, UT, and Phoenix, as well as satellite offices in Northfield and Austin, MN. Harris Companies employs
    620, with anticipated revenues of $190 million in 2007.
    Climate Control employs 100 with revenues of more than $14 million.
    Harris Companies, an employee-owned business, designs, builds and installs piping, plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and electrical systems for commercial and industrial customers. Climate Control provides these services throughout Arizona, for commercial and residential construction.
    Climate Control’s name and management will remain in place. Where there is duplication of services, employees will be given new roles to support anticipated growth in the Phoenix office.
