Lennox Industries has been honored with a AA rating in the annual Partners of Choice Awards from David Weekley Homes.

Lennox Industries has received a AA rating in the annual Partners of Choice Awards from David Weekley Homes, the largest for-profit, privately held homebuilder.

Of the approximately 150 companies surveyed by David Weekley Homes, only 11 — including Lennox — were recognized as receiving an “A” in both service and quality. “For the third consecutive year Lennox has been awarded an ‘A’ for Service,” says John Webster, Lennox director, residential new construction.

“This is a direct result of the excellent work our Lennox RNC dealers and our sales team are doing to provide Lennox products for David Weekley Homes. We are extremely pleased to be recognized for the award again this year. Our RNC Dealers and the Lennox sales force are to be congratulated for their exceptional efforts. “

Lennox Industries received an ‘AA’ award, adding a further “A” for Quality. Receiving the prestigious AA award is a great testimonial to the excellent job our engineering, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, sales personnel and dealers are doing in providing Lennox products and services to David Weekley Homes. Going forward, it will be our highest priority to continue our efforts in providing the service and support necessary to maintain the confidence and trust that has been expressed by the many David Weekley Homes team members, who make this award possible.”

The award criteria and selection are based on the National Trading Partners Survey, a quarterly review of approximately 150 suppliers rated annually by approximately 600 team members of David Weekley Homes. Suppliers are rated based on quality and service. Each suppliers’ numeric scores is averaged, and an alpha rating is assigned relative to its ranking with David Weekley’s other national trading partners. Alpha ratings range from A to F in 20% increments.

“The National Trading Partner Survey requires manufactures to look beyond their four walls,” says Bill Justus, vice president, supply chain services for David Weekley Homes. “It challenges them to actively manage up and down the supply chain to make sure all parties are in alignment in supplying quality products that are cost competitive on a consistently timely basis to our job sites.

“When you source from top competitors, what often separates companies is their ability to overcome the unique challenges within their industry in order to deliver quality, cost competitive products on a timely basis. The National Trading Partner Survey is a practical way of measuring how well companies do in managing their supply chains in order to achieve this objective. Through their actions, Lennox has proven they are among the best of the best in delivering world-class results,” Justus says.
