• Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Expands IT Department, Sales Force

    To support its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating has appointed a new director of information technology and promoted three members of its sales management team.

    To support its continued growth, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating has appointed a new director of information technology and promoted three members of its sales management team.

    “We are confident that these members of our team possess the skills and industry experience to take Mitsubishi Electric to the next level and help continue our rapid sales growth,” says William Rau, senior vice president and general manager, Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating.

    Chris Osment has been appointed as director of information technology to develop and lead a strategic plan for IT solutions. He will organize information systems to support the continued growth of the business as well as implement new information initiatives in marketing, sales, distribution and service.

    David Hawley has been promoted to channel development manager for the South Business Unit (BU), one of five U.S. sales territories in Mitsubishi Electric’s business structure. He is responsible for managing the area and regional sales force in the South BU. Hawley joined Mitsubishi Electric in 2008 where he held the positions of area manager and regional manager prior to his promotion.

    Kevin Hehn has been promoted to channel development manager for the Central Business Unit. In his new role, Hehn will manage the area and regional sales force in the Central BU. Hehn has worked in the HVAC industry since 1981.

    Steve Jones has been promoted to commercial sales manager for the Southwest BU. Responsibilities of this new role include increasing sales of Mitsubishi Electric commercial products and assisting the sales team in enhancing relationships with engineers, contractors and distributors.
