    The increases will range up to 8% or 10% for most tube, sheet and roll insulations and accessories. Sources say higher raw materials costs are the reason for the increase. Updated price lists can be downloaded after April 4, 2011, at armacell.us.

    Ideal Clamp Products, Inc., Smyrna, TN, makers of worm gear, hose, and specialty clamps, announced a price increase on all Ideal-Tridon products, in response to the escalating price of steel in the global market, effective May 1, 2011. No percentage of increase was announced.

    Johnson Controls announced price increases of up to 6% on residential and light-commercial equipment and up to 8% on parts and accessories, effective May 1, 2011. The price hikes include, but aren’t limited to, the York, Coleman, Luxaire, Guardian, Source One and Fraser-Johnston brands.

    Ruskin Air & Sound Control, and Swartwout, both of Kansas City, MO, announced a 3.5% price increase on aluminum products, and 4% on all other products. This increase is directly related to rising medical and unemployment insurance costs, LTL freight rates and raw material costs, including steel and aluminum.
