Rheem Manufacturing Company announced today the extension of its sponsorship agreement with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) for the 2008 and 2009 Sprint Cup seasons. Rheem will continue as the major associate sponsor of RCR’s No. 29 car, driven by 2007 Daytona 500 Champion Kevin Harvick.

“Rheem is a growing, action-oriented company and a leader in its business categories, and we are very pleased that during our inaugural sponsorship year we found RCR to share our passion for quality, professionalism, and will to win," says Rheem Manufacturing Company CEO, Stewart Farwell. We are extremely happy to partner with Richard Childress and his entire organization. We and our worldwide distribution partners are excited to be taking this valuable sponsorship forward."

Rheem continues its major associate sponsorship, which began in 2007, as a way to increase brand awareness of its Rheem and Ruud product brands as well as to provide valuable promotional support to its expansive network of independent contractors. The Rheem and Ruud brand logos will be alternately featured on the rear quarter-panels of the No. 29 car in all Sprint Cup races.
