• RSES Annual Conference Slated for Nov. 2-5

    "Making History with RSES" is the theme of the 74th RSES Annual Conference and HVACR Technology Expo, to be held in conjunction with the 22nd RSES Annual Mid-Southeast Regional Association Educational Conference on Nov. 2-5, 2011, Norfolk, Va.

    "Making History with RSES" is the theme of the 74th RSES Annual Conference and HVACR Technology Expo, to be held in conjunction with the 22nd RSES Annual Mid-Southeast Regional Association Educational Conference on Nov. 2-5, 2011, Norfolk, Va.

    RSES sources say the 2011 RSES conference will deliver a total learning experience for HVACR contractors; service technicians; operations/maintenance managers; engineers and technicians; engineers; sales staff; instructors; and students. Leading HVACR manufacturers and other industry professionals will conduct many educational sessions. Daily educational programs will be available to members, nonmembers and students who are looking to attend a particular day of sessions rather than the entire conference.

    The annual awards luncheon will be held Nov. 3. Among the annual awards to be presented are, the Paul B. Reed Awards; Emil T. Zollo, CM, Memorial Award; the John Spence Award; and the Imperial Awards.

    The ContractingBusiness.com Commercial Refrigeration Contractor of the Year Award will also be presented.

    The RSES HVACR Technology Expo exhibition will take place during the afternoon of Nov. 3, 2011, and will feature the latest HVACR equipment, tools and services.

    Special activities will include the RSES Appreciation Reception the MSAC Ask the Experts session, the RSES Annual Business Meeting, RSES auxiliary business meeting, president’s welcome lunch, and a closing dinner.

    The RSES Mid-Southeast Regional Conference will hold its annual business meeting during the conference, on Nov. 5, 2011.

    Testing opportunities for RSES Specialized Member (SM), RSES Certificate Member (CM), RSES Certificate Member Specialist (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency Refrigerant Usage (EPA-RU) certification, Universal R-410A certification and North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification will be tentatively offered on Nov. 3-5, 2011.
