Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) and the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) have agreed to have RSES become an authorized Delivery Partner for HRAI SkillTech Academy’s Residential Mechanical Ventilation Installation training program. The Residential Ventilation course covers the fundamentals of ventilation assessment, system requirements, and focuses specifically on system design and installation. The course curriculum is designed to provide contractors and building professionals with the skills to develop opportunities in the growing residential ventilation market, including heat and energy recovery ventilators. "With the increased focus on ventilation from an efficiency as well as indoor air quality perspective, HVACR professionals need to adopt best practices. Rather than 'reinvent the wheel,' partnering with HRAI allows RSES to continue bringing leading education to the industry in a timely manner,” says RSES Executive Vice President Mark Lowry.

“Through our partnership with RSES, the availability of this training will be greatly increased in the U.S., to HVACR contractors and building professionals who want to understand the role residential mechanical ventilation can play in solving issues such as moisture management and IAQ,” says HRAI President Warren Heeley.

RSES will be offering the new two-day training course as part of the RSES Training Authority Seminar lineup.
