TABB Added to NYC Schools Standard Specifications
The Testing Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB), had been accepted as a certifying agency for testing, adjusting and balancing work in the standard specifications of the New York City School Construction Authority.
TABB was developed by the National Energy Management Institute Committee (NEMIC), a not-for-profit corporation sponsored by the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association (SMWIA) and the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA). TABB administers certification programs in testing, adjusting and balancing, sound and vibration, and system commissioning. For more information, visit www.tabbcertified.org.
