Taco, Cranston, RI The contractor training and support program by Taco, Cranston, RI (known as FloPro), has launched a biweekly audio roundtable podcast discussion program on the Internet aimed at hydronic contractors.
Hosted by Taco’s residential trainer manager John Barba, the programs bring together leading hydronic professionals from across the U.S. to discuss a wide range of topics involving hydronic heat – new products and applications, system design, maintenance and troubleshooting issues, and more.
The group, which includes semi-regular participants who run everything from one-man shops to 40-man shops, also discusses how to run a successful, profitable business.
Every two weeks a new roundtable discussion takes place and is posted at the Taco FloPro website (go to http://flopro.taco-hvac.com).
All sessions are archived and available for listening at the site. To listen to a podcast, contractors simply go on their computer and login. Podcasts can also be downloaded to an Ipod or MP3 player.
To access the audio discussions contractors must simply register with FloPro and become a FloPro Team member. There is no cost or obligations involved in becoming a FloPro member.
The Taco FloPro Roundtable is another extension of the FloPro program, which involves extensive contractor training opportunities, field and technical support from Taco, and a range of available marketing and promotional materials for contractors who design, sell, install and service hydronic systems.
To become a FloPro team member contractors can stop by their local wholesaler to pick up a registration form or by registering directly online at the Taco website, at www.taco-hvac.com.
