Unico Offers Business Opportunities, Plant Tours at Comfortech

Unico, Inc., St. Louis, MO, a leading manufacturer of small duct high velocity HVAC systems, welcomes Comfortech to St. Louis by offering opportunities for interested HVAC contractors to learn more about Unico and the Unico System.
Comfortech, the premier forum for the residential and light commercial HVAC contracting industry will be held September 26 to 29 at America’s Center in downtown St. Louis and Unico will be exhibiting at booth number 1216.
“Comfortech is the HVAC industry’s event of the year,” says Shawn Intagliata, vice president of business development for Unico, Inc.
Unico will spotlight its system at Comfortech through a business opportunity seminar for HVAC professionals called “Small Duct-Big Business.” Sales professionals will learn how to generate increased sales for greater profits. Featuring case studies and success stories, the seminar will demonstrate projects where the Unico System was the solution for difficult or unique HVAC installation projects. Professionals can hear directly from Unico contractors about the potential Unico has to elevate business and profits to the next level. The seminars will be presented on Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
“The business opportunity seminar will highlight the numerous capabilities of the Unico System,” says Intagliata. “The Unico System has been used in diverse capacities including new construction, historic renovations, museums, log cabins and more. Unico certified contractors and installers are able to customize the system to meet almost any structures HVAC needs making the installation possibilities endless.”
In addition to the business opportunity seminar, Unico will offer tours of the Unico corporate office and manufacturing plant. Unico produces 100% of its products within the United States. The tours will enable HVAC professionals to witness, first hand, the production of the revolutionary small duct, high velocity system. Attendees are encouraged to sign up early for tours because they are only available outside of official Comfortech hours. Shuttles will be provided from Comfortech to Unico and will leave America’s Center 15 minutes prior to tour time. Tours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and on Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Booth 1216 will feature opportunities to learn more about the Unico System, including a working model. The booth incorporates displays of the inner workings of the system components as well as the aesthetic value of the customizable outlets that blend in with any dcor. Additionally, Unico will offer informal clinics about “Unico and Your Business” and “The Effort Required to Create a Comfortable Environment.” The sessions will occur every hour and last approximately 20 minutes.
