    Will explore trends in energy services

    The Unified Group is hosting an Energy Services Forum, Oct. 5th – 7th at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, TX.

    During the session, members will learn about energy efficiency basics, perform an actual energy audit of the Fairmont, and discuss utility rebate programs and federal stimulus funding. “If you’re interested in learning about the new trends in energy services, and in sharing your knowledge and experience with other HVAC contractors, this is the perfect class for you,” said Julie Bishop, executive director. The schedule:

    • Oct. 5 (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM) Reception for Unified Group members
    • Oct. 6 (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) Discuss energy efficiency basics, how to identify opportunities, and what data to gather; perform the energy audit of the Fairmont Hotel
    • Oct. 7 (8:00AM to 4:00 PM) Plug the energy audit information into a spreadsheet; present findings and proposed savings to the Fairmont’s director of engineering; discuss utility rebate programs, equipment leasing, special loan programs, and federal stimulus funding.
