The York brand of Johnson Controls reports it has developed enhanced dealer support programs for 2007.
In addition to offering a high-profile national advertising program, the York brand is also supporting its dealers by providing a custom co-marketing program and flexible consumer promotion dates.
New for 2007, distributors have the ability to choose a pre-season promotion window from a set of optional dates that best fits their dealers region and marketplace. Distributors may choose to run their promotion during the standard period, April 15 – June 30, 2007, or during a new, optional period, March 15 – May 31, 2007.
“By providing distributors with this flexibility, they can better support their dealers’ pre-season promotional efforts, based upon their specific region and market requirements,” said Mickey Smith, York brand manager for Johnson Controls. “For example, dealers in the northeast may want to run their spring promo a little bit later than their counterparts in the south, since the winters tend to last longer in the northeast,” said Smith.
In addition to offering a flexible promotion period, the York brand is supporting its dealers with a co-marketing program that offers local TV, radio and print programs that aggressively promote the brand and the dealer while tying into the consumer promotion, which is a powerful incentive for preseason purchases.
Some of the branding co-marketing options dealers can choose from include newspaper advertisements, radio advertisements, broadcast TV advertisements
At the same time, dealers may also couple these efforts with an aggressive lead generation campaign through media avenues, such as direct mail, outdoor signage, magazine advertisements and sports sponsorships, to name a few.
“By combining the strength of the York brand’s national advertising plan with a solid local promotion, dealers are able to really focus their consumer message to start generating sales calls immediately,” said Smith.
Rebates and extended warranties are the centerpiece of the 2007 York spring promotion. The program offers York brand heating and air conditioning consumers a choice of a cash back rebate up to $1,500 or a 10-year parts and labor extended warranty on selected residential heating and cooling products purchased during the spring promotional period.
The 2007 spring promotion joins a tradition of successful York promotions. This program is only available through registered, participating York Liberties and Liberties Plus dealers.
