York's award winning Business Training University webinars continue in the fall, with a focus on what contractors can do to gain more leads, improve sales, educate employees, and achieve 20% net profit.
The free webinars from York, a Johnson Controls company, will be held at 2 PM EST on three dates, from September to November, and will be available afterwards in archived formats.
    Subjects are:
Sept. 12: Benchmarking for Success, with Richard Harshaw, explores non-financial ways to measure efficiency, that relate to how much work is completed per unit of time.
Oct. 11: Selling Service Agreements, with Gary Elekes, will discuss strategy, pricing, technician training, selling, forms and communication, and provide examples of successful and effective models of service agreement programs.
Nov. 8: Performance-Based Pay, with Ron Collier, will focus on the definition of performance-based pay (PBP) by the federal government, and cover state and federal rules and regulations, overtime compensation formulas, and how to institute PBP in a company.
The webinar series has been designed and sponsored by York/Johnson Controls for the success and profitability of the independent HVAC contractor, in conjunction with Contracting Business and HVACR Distribution magazines.

Contractors may sign up for the remaining live events, or view archived events at www.contractingbusiness.com/York.
