Unified Group Holds Energy
Services Forum

Energy is a hot topic in the HVAC industry today. And that's why the Unified Group wanted to give it some extra attention.

During the Energy Services Forum held in Dallas, TX on October 5th-7th, 28 Unified Group members from 20 member companies discussed how to use this hot topic to help develop opportunities with their customers and prospects.

Like many other industry groups, Unified Group members across the country have seen their customers being driven to lower their operating costs and increase their efficiencies, all while doing the right thing for the environment and their utility bill.

During the two-and-a-half day class, members learned about energy efficiency basics and how to identify opportunities from energy experts within the group. The members also got the opportunity to perform an energy audit of Southern Methodist University to get hands on experience.

The last day of the meeting was a discussion of utility rebate programs, loan programs, and federal stimulus funding. “This meeting increased my desire to move forward with an energy services group,” said a meeting attendee.
