Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, reports that two of its plants have been ranked among the "Top 10" suppliers for Taylor Company, a division of Carrier Commercial Refrigeration.
The Emerson Climate Technologies’ Hartselle, AL, and Sidney, OH plants, both Taylor certified suppliers, achieved Top 10 status out of 129 total Taylor Company suppliers.
Four key areas were measured in determining the Top 10 suppliers: quality, delivery, cost reduction, and service, and Along with various supplier-services performance criteria were also considered.
Emerson Climate Technologies says it scored well above the average performance criteria set by the Taylor Company for each key area, and obtained the highest ratings for the supplier-services performance evaluation.
