Lennox International, Inc. has appointed Michael J. Blatz as president and chief operating officer of its Service Experts business segment. Blatz succeeds Scott Boxer, who announced his retirement, effective June 30, 2010.

Todd Bluedorn, LII CEO, expressed appreciation for Boxer's service, and support for Blatz.

"I'd like to thank Scott Boxer for his many outstanding contributions to LII over the last 12 years, including his leadership of Service Experts since 2002, and wish him a healthy and happy retirement," Bluedorn said.

"Michael's strong operational focus will help us build upon our solid foundation for growth in Service Experts," Bluedorn said.

Blatz most recently served as executive vice president of operations for Lennox International.
