Trane Vice President Participates in Michigan EnergyConference

Jason Bingham, vice president of central territory for Trane North America, recently served on a panel discussing the opportunities for achieving energy efficiency in the U.S. The event was held at the inaugural University of Michigan Energy Conference on Sept. 23, 2011.

The panel discussed a variety of energy topics, including:

  • How to unlock the huge potential for energy efficiency in the U.S.
  • How to provide proper incentives for investment
  • New breakthroughs in efficiency.

Bingham explained the operational realities for today's buildings, and how adopting a high performance building approach can lower costs while increasing efficiency. He said high performance buildings are created using a unique methodology that combines financial, operating, and energy analysis with specialized service offers and available financing.
