The Alliance to Save Energy (ASE) has chosen Danfoss to receive the Innovative Star of Energy Efficiency award. The award will be presented at the Alliance's 18th annual "Evening with the Stars of Energy Efficiency" awards dinner on Sept. 14 in Washington, D.C.

Numerous individuals and organizations that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to advancing energy efficiency will also be recognized.

The ASE advocates energy-efficiency policies that minimize costs to society and individual consumers, and that lessen greenhouse gas emissions and their impact on the global climate.

Danfoss will be honored for a number of new products designed to advance energy efficiency, including the patented Ecoflow™ valve, Performer® VSD compressor, and ERC102 control.

"The Innovative Award is a validation of Danfoss EnVisioneeringSM principles — a commitment to investing in research and development to continually deliver products and solutions that dramatically increase energy efficiency and environmental sustainability," says Robert Wilkins, president, Danfoss North America.
