Emerson Reports on Growing Contractor Recognition Program

Article Tools

Sources from Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., a business of Emerson, report that more than 400 HVAC contractors representing more than 300 companies have enrolled in its Contractor Recognition Program.

The Contractor Recognition Program was designed to help HVAC technicians improve their knowledge base, and reduce field problems and callbacks.

The program allows technicians and firms to accumulate credit for completed courses, with recognition for levels attained, and discounts on future training.

Training topics include: compressor operation and service; White-Rodgers products; scroll technology; refrigeration troubleshooting; flow university, and belt drive energy and tensioning.

Courses are eligible for Institute for Advanced Continuing Education Training (IACET) continuing education units, which are valid for licensing states requiring annual continuing education hours for contractors. The courses also offer NATE credit for recertification.
