Aquatherm in Breweries Helps Keep the Taps Flowing

National Beer Day was observed on April 7. But we'd guess that many of those who observed the day by sipping on suds from their local microbreweries have no idea of the process that goes into making beer.

Aquatherm does. That's why this Lindon, UT-based company — producers and distributers of polypropylene (PP-R) pipe for use in pressurized plumbing and mechanical systems of all sizes — has been a major part of improving the brewing process at two microbreweries in Grand Rapids and Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Brewers everywhere are looking to improve processes, with more consistency and control, to make a better brew. Energy efficiency is also a key goal.

Check out this interesting video from Aquatherm about how its piping systems bring a "refreshing" change to the brewing process.

Aquatherm sources say the company's goal is to produce PP-R pipe that is pure, durable, and better.

The Michigan brewery Founders of Grand Rapids has a story to tell about how Aquatherm pipe has improved energy efficiency in a heat reclaim process.

Arbor Brewing in Ypsilanti, recently expanded its operations, and geothermal systems using Aquatherm piping provided was among the major improvements. Among its benefits, Aquatherm pipe will never corrode.
