    Coleman Echelon CP9C furnaces designated ENERGY STAR Most Efficient of 2013

    The designation recognizes the most efficient products among those that qualify for ENERGY STAR.

    C modulating gas-fired furnaces  from Johnson Controls have earned the ENERGY STAR Most Efficient of 2013 designation.

    The designation recognizes the most efficient products among those that qualify for ENERGY STAR. The CP9C furnaces and all products that have received the 2013 designation are listed on the ENERGY STAR website and represent the leading edge in energy efficient products this year.

    To achieve the designation, products must feature:

    •   Two-way communications with the system controller

    •   Fault code transmission to the indoor controller

    •   Performance levels of 97% annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE)

    •   Automated configuration

    •   Thermostat or other control device with a user interface that can be located in the conditioned space

    Additionally, Echelon CP9C models provide diagnostic and setup information in plain text as well as access to outside temperature data.
