• ACTE Joins Sponsors of 2010 HVACR & Plumbing Instructor Workshop

    The HVACR & Plumbing Instructor Workshop, which will focus on Advancing Green Mechanical Concepts, is pleased to welcome the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) as a new sponsor.

    The HVACR & Plumbing Instructor Workshop, which will focus on Advancing Green Mechanical Concepts, is pleased to welcome the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) as a new sponsor. The 2010 Workshop will be held on March 24-26 at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va.

    Since 1926, ACTE has been dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for successful careers.

    In addition to sponsorship, ACTE's Tom Applegate will present "Your Survival Guide to the Changing Face of Education," during the opening session of the Workshop. He will provide an overview of the changes happening in secondary and post-secondary education. Following his presentation there will be a panel discussion focusing on current issues that affect instructors.

    ACTE will also exhibit during the workshop's evening receptions on March 24 and 25.
