• Carrier Corp. Acquires Metro Mechanical Service, Inc.

    Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), has acquired Metro Mechanical Service, Inc. (MMS), a Las Vegas, Nevada-based heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) contractor specializing in the service of commercial applied equipment and energy saving retrofit projects.

    Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX), has acquired Metro Mechanical Service, Inc. (MMS), a Las Vegas, Nevada-based heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) contractor specializing in the service of commercial applied equipment and energy saving retrofit projects. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Metro Mechanical Service will operate under the Carrier Commercial Service organization, effective immediately.

    Metro Mechanical provides HVAC service in the Las Vegas metro area to a prestigious clientele centered on the Las Vegas Strip, including hotels, casinos, hospitals and universities.
