HARDI sends its deepest sympathy to the Neslony family as they mourn the loss of Geraldine (Rejcek) Neslony beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Geraldine passed away peacefully at 64 years young, Friday, August 12, 2011, at her residence after a courageous five year battle with brain cancer.

She was united in marriage to James J. Neslony on June 29, 1968 in Penelope, TX where she worked in the mortgage and insurance industry until the births of her two sons, when she became a full-time stay at home mother. Since 2002, Geraldine was the co-owner of HVAC Plus in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed photography and volunteered taking school pictures for student year books where her sons attended. She also enjoyed baking and was an experienced home canner. She shared her delicious pies and canned preserves with many of her relatives and friends. Geraldine was active and President of the Wood County Aggie Mom’s Club and participated in many of her sons Texas A&M University functions. She had a zest for life and loved being near her family and friends. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. She will be remembered by many people for her gracious attitude, jovial laugh, sparkling eyes and her beautiful smile. She will be missed by many and is now welcomed home by God to live in eternity.

The Neslony family wanted to give special thanks to MD Anderson Brain and Spine Center, acknowledging Dr. John DeGroot and also a thank you to Autumn Bridge Hospice, recognizing Emily Vorderlandwehr, RN, for all their work and support.

Curt Brown, 60, passed away August 10, 2011, with his wife by his side in his home in Tallmadge, Ohio.

Always there to assist and provide valuable feedback in HARDI’s efforts to develop new products and services, Curt was born May 30, 1951 in Akron to Joanne Brown and George Herbert Brown and graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1969. Curt then joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he proudly served in Vietnam. He later graduated from both the University of Akron and Case Western Reserve University, where he received his MBA. Curt spent most of his career in finance where he was most recently the Chief Financial Officer of Famous Enterprises, Inc.

Curt was a busy person who enjoyed family, friends, and work. In his free time he enjoyed movies, reading, running and fine dining. He also volunteered at Tallmadge Grow, Inc. and Project Learn of Summit County where he served as Treasurer and Board member at both, as well as The University of Akron Finance Advisory Board for the College of Business Administration.

He was an adventurous person whose life was cut too short. Just this past weekend he began a SCUBA certification course for an upcoming family trip where he planned to dive in the Sea of Cortez.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Curt and Geraldine’s families, co-workers and friends.
