Meier Supply Company, Inc. Rochester Branch Manager, Andy Nohle, has been recognized by RSES with the V. V. Solomon Award for 2010. RSES is the leading education, training and certification preparation organization for HVACR (Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) professionals and their prestigious V.V. Solomon Award recognizes industry educators for their outstanding contributions to students’ HVACR growth and development.

In his eight years as an industry educator, Nohle has taught hundreds of HVACR professionals and many of those students have chosen to show their appreciation by nominating him for this award. “It was very much an unexpected honor – both to find out that I was being given this award and to realize that I had made that much of a lasting impression on my students,” said Nohle. He went on to say that he has already booked his flights to Tucson where he will accept his award at the RSES 73rd Annual Conference in November. Appropriately, this year’s conference theme is “Thirst for Knowledge”.

Meier Supply Company, Inc. has always been a staunch supporter of industry efforts to raise the bar on education for HVACR professionals, including RSES programs and NATE Certification. “We’re very proud of Andy. He exemplifies our philosophy of ‘Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed’ with his focus on providing customers with the very best ongoing technical training available,” says Frank A. Meier, Jr. President and CEO of Meier Supply Company, Inc.
