• WinWholesale appoints Jim Adcox vice president, Noland Company

    Seasoned distribution executive will be responsible for operations in 12 states

    WinWholesale Inc., one of the nation’s largest distributors, has announced the appointment of James A. Adcox as vice president of Noland Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinWholesale. Noland Company provides plumbing and industrial supplies, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment to customers in 12 states, mainly in the Southeast.

    Adcox will have overall responsibility for Noland’s local store operations, said Monte Salsman, WinWholesale chief operating officer.

    Adcox joins WinWholesale from Johnstone Supply Inc. in Portland, Ore., where he was senior vice president, membership.

    WinWholesale and Noland Company are the exclusive national distributors of NuTone Heating and Cooling Products manufactured by NORDYNE. NuTone also is available at selected Winair and Winnelson companies, which are the WinWholesale brands for HVAC and plumbing supplies and equipment, respectively.
