Modine

Modine introduces the Effinity93 unit heater with 93% efficiency, and Conservicore technology, which is designed to be the most efficient gas-fired unit heater in North America. The unit is part of a full line of six models ranging from 135,000 to 310,000 BTU/hr.

The Effinity93 (Model PTC) features Modine's Conservicore technology. This technology offers greater durability than standard aluminum secondary heat exchangers offered by other manufacturers sources say. The Effinity93 can be vented as a two-pipe or concentric vent system for maximum flexibility with either 3-in. or 4-in. PVC vent piping.

Permatron

PreVent® equipment protection filters provide the first line of defense in preventing debris from entering the HVACR system and insulating coils, electronics and other sensitive components. Airborne debris, such as cottonwood, can clog air intakes, reducing air flow by as much as 50% or more, and ultimately cause system failure. A proactive approach to equipment maintenance helps deliver consistent high level performance and minimize downtime. PreVent filters are made of permanent, washable black polypropylene with UV protection. Custom made to exact air intake dimensions with a flexible vinyl or rigid steel frame, the PreVent filter can be easily mounted on an equipment housing using a variety of unique attachments available.

Ruskin

The EAMS060 by Ruskin combines electronic air measuring with an ultra low leak, airfoil blade, control damper and actuator. The building automation system (BAS) sends a setpoint cfm to the controller and the factory commissioned actuator modulates to control to that setpoint. The output signal confirms the flow to the BAS. This damper saves energy with AMCA Class 1 leakage and meets the requirements of the IECC. Electronic controls are temperature and altitude compensating. A flow control potentiometer facilitates field calibration so the controller can be fine-tuned to an accuracy of 1% of set point.

Tamarack Technologies

Tamarack Technologies introduces the Multi-Aire IIP and IIN balanced ventilation system. This ventilation system introduces fresh, filtered air into the home, balances air pressure, and pulls stale air out of the house.

Called “Multi-Aire II,” the system relies on two mechanical devices, one of which pulls in healthy, refreshing air while the other exhausts polluted air. It offers both negative and positive air exchange, thus creating balanced airflow even in what is often referred to as an “airtight” home.

Titus

The Titus FlexRight is a 90-degree elbow that connects flex-duct to a diffuser inlet with a gentle 90-degree transition, eliminating kinking or improper positioning of the flex duct that is often found in the field installations.

FlexRight is made of 100% recycled materials and is UL listed. The universal design accommodates all flexible duct sizes and diffuser inlets from 4-in. to 16-in.
