City of Louisville: Please Stay, McQuay!

Business First of Louisville, KY reported today that AAF-McQuay Inc. has received preliminary approval for state tax incentives following a meeting of the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority in Frankfort, KY.

The news article by staff writer John R. Karman III says receiving the incentives would require the company to expand in Louisville. The company has been considering the relocation of its world headquarters to another city.

An expansion project currently under consideration by AAF would represent a $3.8 million investment, and would add 50 jobs to the 200 currently employed in Louisville. The company was approved for as much as $3 million in incentives, according to the report.
