Offers crossplatform communication between Department of Energy’s Portfolio Manager program and the BuildingAdvice program

Article Tools

AirAdvice has completed major upgrades to BuildingAdvice, its diagnostic energy services platform offering energy efficiency information collection, analysis, and reporting for commercial buildings.

The new, bidirectional database synch allows crossplatform communication between the Department of Energy’s Portfolio Manager program and the BuildingAdvice program, allowing HVAC contractors the ease and simplicity of BuildingAdvice’s user-friendly interface while maintaining the contractor’s building credit through Portfolio Manager.

and reporting for commercial buildings.

Automated synching compiles all energy benchmarking work under a contractor’s name, regardless of the benchmarking program used, maximizing the contractor’s ENERGY STAR credentialing and improving eligibility to achieve ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year.

The latest BuildingAdvice update:

  • automatically synchs the BuildingAdvice database with the Portfolio Manager database
  • allows HVAC contractor building information to be cross-referenced between the two programs, enhancing their ENERGY STAR Partner credentials, while allowing them to take advantage of BuildingAdvice’s user-friendly software
  • offers import/export capability between BuildingAdvice and Portfolio Manager, making all of a contractor’s building evaluation information eligible for ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year designations
  • creates new Portfolio Manager accounts for HVAC contractors without an established account, automatically synching between programs upon setup.
