Auburn University Begins Sustainable
HVAC Workshops

The Office of Professional and Continuing Education at Auburn University is offering the first of three, two-day HVAC Sustainable Practices Workshops in Birmingham, AL, June 10 and 11, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Jefferson State Community College, Shelby Campus.

Additional workshops will be held in Mobile, AL, on July 22-23; and Huntsville, August 19-20.

The workshops are open to all HVAC professionals, construction managers, civil and electrical engineers, architects and contractors and are approved by the Alabama State HVAC Board for 15 hours of credit. Additional workshops will be held in Mobile in July and in Huntsville in August.

Topics will include a LEED® overview, ASHRE code updates, HVAC and commercial systems, alternative energy options and a demonstration of the Auburn University Gasification Unit.

Registration is $195 through June 4 and $225 thereafter. Seating is limited and early registration is encouraged. Dates for other workshops are July 22 and 23 in Mobile and Aug. 19 and 20 in Huntsville.
