Comfort Systems USA®, Inc., a Houston, TX-based provider of commercial, industrial and institutional HVAC services, has appointed Brian Lane as its president and chief operating officer.

Lane has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at the company since January 1, 2009. He joined Comfort Systems USA in October 2003, and served as senior vice president for the company's northeast region until January of 2009.
