Enertech has named Kyle Weyer as its territory sales manager for the Northwest region of the U.S., serving Washington and Idaho.

Weyer joined Enertech from Custom Heating and Cooling, Inc. in Neillsville, WI, where he was a Territory Manager. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Although Weyer has only been employed in the HVAC industry for 6 years, he has been involved in it for most of his adult life. As he grew up watching his father work at his own heating and refrigeration company, Weyer developed a passion for the HVAC industry.

“I think geothermal heating and cooling is the sustainable solution for the future of HVAC," he says. Weyer has a history of implementing successful programs that encourage homeowners to replace older inefficient units with ones that are more environmentally friendly and economically beneficial. Along with developing marketing plans with individual dealers, he will increase geothermal awareness through tradeshows, home shows and as well as other marketing efforts.

Last year, Enertech opened the West Coast’s first 100% dedicated geothermal warehouse in Portland, OR. This distribution center stocks both GeoComfort and Hydron Module brand geothermal heat pumps and accessory items. The new location reduces lead times, freight damage and shipping cost for the West Coast dealers it serves.

“The Portland distribution center was established to meet the needs of our customers in that area. The additional sales and marketing support that Kyle represents lets us take that commitment a step further. We're excited to see the positive impact he has on that territory,” commented Steve Smith, CEO for Enertech.

Kyle Weyer will be based in Seattle and can be reached at kweyer@enertechmfg.com.
