Maxitrol Company executive vice president and chief operating officer Larry Koskela today announced the promotion of Richard Bargert to vice president of marketing and communications, Maxitrol Company and its Germany-based affiliate Mertik Maxitrol GmbH & Co. KG, respectively.

He will communicate with current and potential customers through product news, brand development, electronic communications, and advertising.

Bargert joined Maxitrol in 2000 as marketing coordinator. He was named director of global marketing in 2003.

Southfield, Michigan-based Maxitrol Company and its affiliate Mertik Maxitrol, located in Thale, Germany, design and manufacture gas pressure regulators, electronic gas modulation systems, gas filters, and gas safety devices.
