Heating, Airconditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) recently reported on the passing of two leaders in HVACR distribution.

Geraldine Neslony, 64, died on Friday, August 12 after a five-year battle with brain cancer. Since 2002, Neslony was a co-owner of HVAC Plus, Oklahoma City, OK.

Neslony's hobbies included photography and baking. She volunteered as a student year book photographer at the school attended by her sons. She also enjoyed baking and was an experienced home canner. She shared her delicious pies and canned preserves with many of her relatives and friends.

Neslony was president of the Wood County Aggie Mom’s Club and participated in many of her sons' Texas A&M University functions. She had a zest for life and loved being near her family and friends. She was a dedicated and faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond. She will be remembered by many people for her gracious attitude, jovial laugh, sparkling eyes and her beautiful smile. Survivors include her husband James, and sons, Jason and Jonathan.

Curt Brown, 60, died on August 10, at his home in Tallmadge, OH. Brown was chief financial officer of Famous Enterprises, Akron, OH.

Brown joined the U.S. Marine Corps after high school, and served in Vietnam. He later graduated from the University of Akron and Case Western Reserve University, where he received an MBA degree.

Curt was a busy person who enjoyed family, friends, and work. In his free time he enjoyed movies, reading, running and fine dining. He also volunteered at Tallmadge Grow, Inc. and Project Learn of Summit County. He served as treasurer and board member of both organizations, and was on The University of Akron Finance Advisory Board for the College of Business Administration. Brown's survivors include his wife, Beverly, and sons, David and Michael.
