RSES has introduced five more RSES Training Authority Seminars to the spring seminar schedule.

The seminars will cover:
electrical troubleshooting;
air conditioning;
NATE preparation training.

The five RSES Training Authority Seminars that will be held at RSES Headquarters in Des Plaines, Ill. include:
“Electrical Troubleshooting,” will be led by Howard L. Pemper, CMS. This seminar will be held on May 14, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Attendees will learn to identify problems by reading schematic circuits and equipment systems. A basic understanding of electrical terms, laws and test equipment is required.

“Air Conditioning I and II,” will be led by Marcus G. Metoyer, Jr., MS, CMS. The seminars will be held on May 20-21, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Air Conditioning I teaches basic air conditioning concepts and is a valuable refresher for the experienced installer and service technician. Air Conditioning II details how to calculate air flow across an evaporator coil, troubleshoot thermostatic expansion valves (TVX/TEV) and more. Participants of this seminar must have some air conditioning experience. Attendees have the option of attending one or both of these seminars and will receive a discount for attending both.

“NATE Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Preparation Training,” will be led by Nasser Dollah, CM. This seminar will be held on May 28, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This seminar prepares those who are looking to take the NATE Air Conditioning and Heat Pump exam by arming them with knowledge that will be helpful when taking the exam.
“NATE Core Preparation Training,” will be led by Nasser Dollah, CM. This seminar will be held on June 25, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This seminar prepares those who are looking to take the NATE Core exam by arming them with knowledge that will be helpful when taking the exam.
“NATE Air Distribution Preparation Training,” will be led by Nasser Dollah, CM. This seminar will be held on July 30, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This seminar prepares those who are looking to take the NATE Air Distribution exam by arming them with knowledge that will be helpful when taking the exam.
