Robert Wilkins of Danfoss to Serve as Moderator at EE Global

Robert Wilkins, president of Danfoss North America, will moderate an executive dialogue session during the Energy Efficiency Global Forum & Exposition (EE Global) 2010, May 10-12 at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.

The executive dialogue program will feature 20 concurrent sessions that focus on a variety of timely topics and touch upon every end-use sector. Wilkins will join Lena Ek, a member of the European Parliament, U.S. Congressman Peter Welch (D-VT), and Cathy Zoi, assistant secretary, Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy, in the session Breaking New Ground: Economic Recovery through Efficiency Retrofits.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Robert Wilkins to our executive dialogue program,” said Kateri Callahan, president of the Alliance to Save Energy, host of the EE Global Forum.“The experience he brings to the discussion, along with Danfoss’ commitment to energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions, will make a significant contribution to the executive-level discussions. Each year, these sessions attract executives committed to putting energy efficiency to work in their businesses, communities and markets.”

Danfoss will again sponsor the three-day forum, now in its fourth year. EE Global is the only international event that focuses solely on energy efficiency from the perspective of all energy end-use sectors (buildings, industrial, transportation and consumer) and covers the cross-cutting issues of finance, policy, technology, and market transformation. The forum also seeks to build strategic alliances among international governments, business and the public interest sector.

At EE Global 2010, participants will discover the ideas, intersections and solutions for growing energy-efficient economies. In addition to executive dialog sessions, the symposium will feature plenary sessions and the EE Global Marketplace of Ideas, which will allow experts to showcase their best practices and strategies for energy-efficient deployment. The inaugural EE Global was held in Washington, D.C., in 2007 and drew more than 850 exhibitors, speakers, media and attendees representing 32 countries.

Danfoss is a leading manufacturer of HVACR and electronics and mechanical components.
