Taco’s FloPro Factory Training offers a broad range of professional development opportunities for plumbing and heating contractors in 2011. During sessions, participants learn to grow their hydronic expertise and boost profitability. All hands-on classes offer useful information and experience. Their popular webinar series will continue at a rate of two per month, free of charge.

The company will focus its efforts on its most popular, John Barba-driven course: the "Compleat" Boiler Room, with four dates available at Taco’s main facility in Cranston, RI. According to Barba, Taco's nationally-recognized hydronics trainer, other courses will also be held at locations in Long Island (June 16-17), Warren, NJ (July 14-15). Dates for training in Colorado, Chicago, Ohio, and Philadelphia will be announced at a later date.

All classes are NATE-Recognized and NORA Approved.

"Compleat" Boiler Room training shows installers how to install outstanding boiler rooms.

"We'll discuss sizing and near-boiler piping for both cast iron and modulating-condensing boilers," says Barba. "We'll discuss the proper sizing and application of circulators and zone valves, and discuss zoning strategies with a heavy dose of hydronic electronics thrown in for good measure. It's an advanced training program covering the latest in controls and products, with extended hands-on opportunities."

Sources say this two-day program is designed for, and will benefit any experienced hydronics installer or designer.

Tuition for all Taco FloPro Factory Training courses is $289, and includes two days of training, hotel accommodations for two nights, ground transport, meals and extras (though airfare to the host city is not included).
