Talbot Gee has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distribuutors International (HARDI), Columbus, OH.

Gee assumes the role previously held for 13 years by Don Frendberg, who has decided to step down, and assume the role of chairman.

Gee had previously served as HARDI vice president, and was a driving force in HARDI's government affairs activities. 

"Talbot has already shown exemplary leadership for the association and has made great strides in strengthening the voice of the industry and improving channel relations. We're very excited to continue moving forward under his guidance in the years to come," according to an announcement on the HARDI website.
