Device has 'so much data to share,' editors say.

Trane's ComfortLinkII is a thermostat, and so much more. It's those additional features that have earned the device a "Top Product of 2010" recognition by the editors of Popular Mechanics.

PM editors were impressed by the system's 7-in. touchscreen, ease of use, and clarity of information.

"The device has so much data to share," the editors wrote. "It gathers online forecasts and fires up heating and cooling equipment as the weather changes. It also remembers the house's HVAC history."

According to Trane sources, ComfortLink II communicating technology connects all key components of a home comfort system, so the system automatically charges, configures, and calibrates for optimal performance.

ComfortLink II appears in the July 2010 issue of ContractingBusiness.com (http://bit.ly/comfortlinkcb).
