For four days in October, more than 500 Trane Comfort Specialist dealers and Trane corporate executives gathered among the monuments, museums and memorials of the nation’s capital to celebrate a decade of excellence and future innovation. They were there for the introduction of the revamped Trane Comfort Specialist Program.

Attendees at the 10th Anniversary Trane Comfort Specialist Conference received an immersion in the newly revitalized program, which showcases the Trane Comfort Specialist dealers’ elite qualifications more clearly to consumers. In addition, attendees were able to network and share best practices with their fellow dealers.

Dale Green explained the 'completely new' features of the Trane Comfort Specialist program.

“We’re delighted to have introduced the all-new Trane Comfort Specialist program during our annual conference,” said Dale Green, vice president and general manager, dealer and distributor channel, Trane Residential Solutions. “When we say the program is completely new, we mean it. Now the members of our elite dealer force have full access to the power of the Trane brand, from marketing and advertising, to products and leads. We’ve also created an education path that grows and changes with each Trane Comfort Specialist dealer to ensure they’re on the path to success.

"When it comes to branding and advertising, we’re providing opportunities to customize and differentiate their brand promise, while connecting with their customers,” Green said.

During the conference, Trane Comfort Specialist dealers and their guests were able to experience the rich history and culture of the nation’s capital, while touring such sights as Mount Vernon, The National Air & Space Museum and Arlington Cemetery.

The closing keynote address was delivered by General Colin Powell, United States Army Retired. According to General Powell’s Leadership Primer, “Organization doesn’t really accomplish anything. Plans don’t accomplish anything, either. Theories of management don’t much matter. Endeavors succeed or fail because of the people involved. Only by attracting the best people will you accomplish great deeds.”

“This year’s Trane Comfort Specialist Conference was an opportunity for us to thank the finest group of dealers in the country, bar none,” added Green. As General Powell remarked, with the best people and an even stronger elite dealer program, we’re achieving great things.”
